Uhm, what?

Who knew that a little bookmark could be so much work? :p Got the fabric photos up and am working on the listing now. Need to take some time to get the available embroidery patterns together. Don’t know if I should take the time and embroider each pattern for an actual photo or just put together a quick drawing lookbook.

I don’t know how I did it, but in the 20 or so feet from the Costco cash register to the door, I lost my debit card. Looked all over but couldn’t find it. Got in the car and what song starts playing? This one. Put things a bit into perspective and made me realize that it was just one card and not my entire wallet. Or my car, or my little monkey man. Canceled the card on the way home and will have a new one by Tuesday.

I’d like to finish picking up the yard today but I may just say screw it, go take a shower and head on over to Jo-Anns. I was making one of my ‘Creative Pay It Forward’ gifts for a dear friend when I got the idea for a new item for my shop. It will be fairly inexpensive (probably 50 cents to 2 or 3 bucks depending on how fancy it is) and I’m hoping it will help drive up my sales. I won’t be posting anything more specific until I can finish up my friend’s gifts and get them mailed out to her. But I digress, I need to go to Jo-Ann’s because I do not have the right colour of fabric in my stash!

Slept on the couch

Last night because the husband would not stop snoring. I tried everything to get to him to quit, short of smothering him with a pillow. I finally gave up and went to lay down on the couch and watch Netflix. Unfortunately I could hear him snore over the movie. So tired, so thankful I don’t have anything pressing to do to today.

Also, today is definitely a 3 cups of tea day.

And oh Spring, I love the smell of rain.

My oldest can now do his spelling homework online! I’m kind of excited about that. I think it will be more fun for him and because it’s fun, it won’t take him as long to get it done.

I wish I was a cat so I could just lay in the sun and not have to make dinner.

I taught my youngest how to say thank you to a compliment yesterday and now whenever I tell him I love him, he says ‘Thank you!’

Today is Odd Socks day/World Down Syndrome Day!

For sending me an email that sent me down the genealogical rabbit hole for an hour. I just wanted to find out who Pasquiere Lefebvre was and how we’re related. I discovered that Madonna is one of her descendants…which would make us very distant cousins. So the last hour was spent trying to find proof of that. I can’t find a family tree for Madonna past her grandparents and I don’t have my ancestry subscription up and running currently. DAMN YOU GOOGLE FOR FAILING ME!

I got Mists of Panderia today and like the silly non-thinking person I am, I forgot that I had set up the battle.net authenticator on my last phone. Which is currently missing. So I can’t play until Blizz takes my authenticator off of my account.

Crochet Stitches

I’m looking for a website that has a list of crochet stitches (not like basic ones but fancy stuff). Found a few stitches that I like but I’m not sure if they’d work for what I want them to. Do any of you know of a good website that has crochet stitch tutorials/photos?
