blackkittenclan: true that. Sure, SOME of the things in the past were pretty awesome, but for the most part, people were GIANT dickheads to each other. Even worse than they are now. Imagine not being able to vote because you’re a woman or because of the colour of your skin. Don’t forget about disease either.  It’s good to love history but with that, you have to accept that not everything was rosy.
